On that form you will find empty boxes in which you should enter your first name, your last name, your e-mail address (the second time as confirmation), your desired password, gender (whether you’re male or female) and your birthday.
Type your username and password
Your first and last names are self-explanatory. By them you will be known throughout Facebook, it is the name that will be written on top of your profile and using that name people will be able to find and befriend you.
Your e-mail address is going to be used as a user name and on that address you will receive all the notifications and messages you allow the groups, different facebook apps and Facebook itself to send you. Permissions can be modified in Facebook account settings, so you don’t need to worry about that now.
Register facebook with long password
When choosing a password, make it at least as long as 8 characters or preferably more. Try to combine capital (or upper case) letters, small (lower case) letters and numbers. The longer and more complicated it is, the safer the password. Just try not to forget it and don’t give your password to ANYONE. Friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, Mom, Dad – no one should know your login information but yourself.

Fill profile info
The second step is filling in your Profile info. This is just basic information about you that can help people find you or get to know you a little bit better. There are 3 text boxes where you can enter information about your secondary school, university and/or employer. A lot more information can be added later, when you finish the registration process, and it can always be modified. Also, you can customise the permissions for viewing your personal information for each group of users any time you want.
Upload profile picture
The third step is uploading a photo that will serve as your profile picture. Your profile picture is the one that shows on your profile and next to everything you do that is publicly shown on people’s Facebook homepages.
